combine daikanyama にてチリ大地震支援のためのチャリティーパーティー開催

先月末、南米チリにて発生し大規模な被害を起こしたチリ地震への災害支援チャリティーパーティー “Chile Style” が今週末4月4日（日）、combine daikanyama にて開催される。
チリ大地震は2月27日（土）、チリ中部沖にてマグニチュード8.8という規模で発生し、452人の犠牲者、200万人以上の被災者、2.7兆円の公共被 害を引き起こしている。チリは日本からは最も遠くに位置する国といえるが、日本でも沿岸地域での津波被害や、在チリの日本企業への影響も発生しており、ま た、当サイト読者の方々には現在のエレクトロニック・ミュージックのシーンと深いつながりを持っている国で起こったことで、「遠い国の出来事」 では片付けられないインパクトがあったのではないだろうか。
当日はエントランス無料だが、店内で来場者それぞれでの募金が可能。地震発生時にチリツアーで現地に滞在していた Ryo Tsutsui をはじめ、都内各クラブで活躍する実力派DJ達が参加するほか、無料で提供されるオーガニックフードや、手ごろな価格で楽しめるチリワインなども用意され るとのこと。 なお、今回の募金は日本のNGO・ピースボートから現地NGO・CODEFF を通して寄付される。
1月末に同じく combine daikanyama にて行われたハイチ大地震への緊急･復興支援チャリティーイベント “HELP！HAITI！” と同様、「音楽」 をきっかけに参加することが行動につながるという提案がまた新たに良い流れを作り出しているといえるだろう。
